Technology advances us into danger?

I just read an article by Mr. Fisch titled, "Please Help Abby With Her Homework". The article was about Mr. Fisch's daughter, who got an assignment that was to send a notebook around the world to people and they would write things about themselves. Mr. Fisch then asked if people reading his blog would send in things about themselves through wiki. The article made me think about how far the world has come in technology, people no longer write letters they write emails etc... It also made me think how dangerous the world is today. You can find out something about some one, like where they live and stuff, just by going on the internet. Myspace especially is dangerous, I don't have a myspace because I really don't have the time to be on the internet all day. Once school is over I go to swim practice, then go home do my homework eat dinner and then on occasion watch a little t.v. or something. What I'm trying to say is that it isn't hard to look up something about someone over the internet and it isn't hard to ruin someone's or your own reputation over the internet. I think that Mr.Fisch should be more careful about what he posts on his blog since from reading the article I now know where his daughter goes to school, that she's in third grade, and her name is Abby Fisch. Not that anyone will do anything but if some creep reads that and gets that information something bad could happen. I just think Mr. Fisch should be more careful next time.
